have extracted them, these are; 1. /home/john/Desktop/FldigiHelp-2.0.tar.gz and 2. /home/john/Desktop/fl_logbook.2.3.bin.tgz These are the actual folders. I have tried what you suggested Dave, but no joy. The cd/temp says no such file or directory, so I have not been able to create the
