hi,
i need some help. I accidentaly deleted some repositories and now im getting
this error message.. and a constant little red box on the top toolbar (
informing me of an error). here is the error message:

Im experiencing choppiness when video playback. its fine in a smaller screen
but in a bigger screen the choppiness occurs. Previously ive changed the video
card name after doing something in terminal. I had to change it from "vesa" to
"via".
can anyone help??

I recently built my own media centre!

I am using the onboard graphics and not a dedicated graphics card..BUT
I can get beryll to work. I cant run or install fiesty in normal m
unfortunately i cant provide the error message as it restarts straight away and

as 28C to 31 when im browsing the web ...however if if restart my pc and log

I have a dual boot installed on an 80gb hd. I installed a 400gb for my media. I
partitioned this 400gb hd into two 200gb partitions But after a gutsy install
they are now showing 186gb of free space each!
I don’t understand why this is?
Any information will be appreciated

Ok i did the hand test i.e i touched the heatsink and it wasnt hot at all..i
could barely feel any warmth coming from there!
By the way for those talking bout sensors When i type it into terminal
..it gives me temps for both cores...and sometimes they are showing as
different temps!

I have a dual boot...my windows OS detects my partitions...but ubuntu fiesty
doesnt...
The two partitions in question are in ntfs format is there anyway i can
load them into fiesty without having to reinstall!

note my pc doesnt actually have bluetooth.
Im just wondering would it be classed as "Bluetooth enabled" if a headset was
connected to it? and furthermore if i beamed any files to that headset could i

just to put things in perspective i tried running a video of Warhammer on a 14"
moniter..and then a 22" monitor.. there was very little difference in the pic
quality!

Im running a AMD dual core 5000+ with 2gb of ram!
I dont intend to watch broadcast HD from my pc... just the occassional "HD"
file episode of prison break for example! the ones that are normally 350mb in
size!

i agree it prob wont. but if it manages those on a 32" ill be happy!

Its recorded from HD, but divx-ed to something a lot less than that!On We
well i guess if it can manage anything at dvd quality on a 32" ill be happy
with it!
