I know that I used to live in the same area and got around 3mbit, until
it dropped to 2mbit. eventually suddenly shifting to 1mbit one day.

hat! right now dell are only selling the mini 10
netbook which is a terrible terrible machine that won't work well on
ubuntu because of the nasty gpu (closed source drivers, only works with
old kernels). the last word i heard on it was that dell are spinning up
a new line of netbooks or something and

are they won't work with some newer blu-rays if the disk key's get
changed and it doesn't update, generally the ps3 is recommended as the

I have really no idea about venues, being from outside of town and all,
someone suggested BarCampManchester but that's at least a week later.
Honestly I am happy enough as long as there are chairs, a bar, some
tables and wifi :)
