Maybe nautilus has died? Or isn't connecting to the desktop properly - I've

internet bar lugging the whole pc downstairs every time. Of course I'll

dunno about wifi, but I do know that our belgium friends bought a router
in germany but it doesn't work in belgium. So there could be
differences... but that shouldn't affect what the laptop picks up unless
it's been configured into the hardware or something.

I stumbled across Cherry a while ago with their Linux keyboard. having a
little difficulty finding the page where they sell it, but i've seen a
couple of pages where people said they were having trouble with it. is
it any good?

n knoppix, ubuntu and a bit of suse, and had a go
with simply mepis and red hat. I think they're all good in their own way
though, just different levels of usability and configurability

install dvdrip (or dvd-rip, can't remember). It's in the repos, and once
you understand what's going on, it's easy enough to use. And it has a
pause button :D

I installed a load of stuff from the medibuntu repos... etc etc
But I'm running on 64bit architecture (sorry - forgot to mention that
earlier :/), and there is no gstreamer0.10-pitfdll available for me. And
it won't install from source.
This can't be right?! Surely it can't be that I a 64bit linux user can't
watch dvds?!
