personally I've always found gnome-system-monitor awfully memory
consumptive, and presumed it must be due to the resources time chart
which appears to use vectors. This does need to be dealt with - I think
it should be a really light weight app because I mostly use it to check
out why my system is running slow, and to kill other slow apps. A clunky
program is obviously not ideal for this...
I haven't actually upgraded yet, but I've never come across it using
that much of the processor... so sorry, can't really help, just thought
I'd add a bit :)
