I bought Maplin's "5.1 USB Multimedia Sound Card" [1], which has the
lsusb output listed below [2], and I'm at my wit's end trying to get
it to work (on Intrepid and Jaunty). All I want to do is plug the

possibly VLC.

I backed up my home directory a while ago - I think I did it through
Nautilus / Brasero - but wasn't aware that there might be hidden files.
I've not been able to find where GRAMPS saves its data although I have
found a lot of its material in /usr/

Is there a "safe" way to do this? If I try Add/Remove programs I get

know the answer to this one.

Vodafone. Now I've managed to get it configured so they can pick up
their e-mails via IMAP through Vodafone (I assume t
Hi -- I want to setup an internal web server on an Ubuntu machine that I
will use to trigger scripts when emails arrive with certain addresses.
The emails will be parsed for args to send the scripts, and the scripts will
be written in Ruby.
I've worked on projects before where this has been done,

the UK. I would be keen to know what support / advice (if any) the LoCo team
could offer on this project.
