Ok, then I’m now so convinced your bug is fixed. The real issue is that the
phone got into that state without doing anything beyond the ordinary.
I think you should re-open your bug. Obviously, the more info you can supply on
the bug, the better:

With OTA12 gedit disappeared from my M10. Also from the Store. I tried to find
some simple text editor but didn't succeed.
Is there no simple text editor available?

Hey,
We are in a process of releasing BlueZ 5.41 with it's packages currently in
silo 37. It might, however I'm not 100% sure, improve iot with cars.
Therefore if you are fluent enough with the shell and adb you may try to
give it a chance and see how it works otherwise wait till OTA-13 which will
Hi, after OTA-12 update there's a 'ghost' app with no icon and no name
asking for location.
What is it? (Screenshot attached).
Best regards.

Hey,
Ok, if you are unsure about the silos and due to the fact that I'm not
certain that it will fix the issues with cars I recommend waiting till
OTA-13.
As for the syslog this is the global log file where the whole system is
printing. It is located in /var/log/syslog and you need the adb tool [

Hi,
I have the same "problem" and was wondering what this was about. I have 3
"ghost" apps though.
And for me it is not the browser it seems. The browser is listed in the
list of applications.
Let me know if somebody needs further information.

websites asking for your location through the web browser, but that's
just a guess.
It would be great to have a way do delete them, though.

I think this is a very old bug. I assume those are uninstalled apps or some
apps that are not supported anymore like for example the Log Viewer which
doesn't show in the apps scope anymore even though it's installed.

I try pairing and the car says this is not compatible. In previous OTA's it

Yes it is this bug, due to uninstalling an app with permissions. It is not

It seems likely this is due to having some old apps installed with the
permission, but which were using old deprecated frameworks, which were
removed in OTA12. Since those frameworks are no longer available, the
apps are got "unregistered" from the system.

Yes, my bad, with "delete" i meant "remove" (poor english, i know). I have

Next time i close the flip, the star is accidentally tapped and the scope
