It's fairly common in English to write menu bar as two words, even as other
bars (side, tool) are frequently written as a single word.
I don't think our manual should change spelling conventions for the sake of
consistency. English is not a consistent language, generally, anyways.

I think that it'd be good to rework the credits a bit. People who only
contributed to past versions should be commingled and put into past
contributors, while current edition's contributors should be broken out by

For some reason this crocodoc tool is showing highlights but not the text
comments -- while entering you see them, but not from another browser
instance. To see the comments you seem to have to need to export the PDF
with markup and then they all show up...
Or am I doing something wrong?

I've been battling with this weird font issue on Windows -- almost
everything was rendering _very_ poorly for me on the web site. I've tried
replacing all headers and text using Cufón, and that worked great -- the
font started rendering correctly.
The problem was that the copy of DejaVu Sans Conde
Good idea. I saw limesurvey last time when creating the survey, but at the
time we didn't have web space set up yet, and I was concerned more with the
speed to set up the survey and not the technology.
Now that we have more resources, this is definitely the way to go.

recommendation seems to be based on a compromise between color depth and

I forgot about this bug, but had cleaned all of these up except for
changing the case from Unix to UNIX.
UNIX refers to the trademarked software, whereas a common term for what
Linux is would be "Unix-like". See the Wikipedia entry on UNIX for more.

too much like textbooks, and not enough like user manuals and guides).
