I forgot about this bug, but had cleaned all of these up except for changing the case from Unix to UNIX.
UNIX refers to the trademarked software, whereas a common term for what Linux is would be "Unix-like". See the Wikipedia entry on UNIX for more. Also, can UNIX be written in all caps or with small caps (the way it si trademarked and branded)? Of course, Windows is older than Linux, but not UNIX. I think a clarification is needed here. 2. "....websites like Facebook and Google are run on *nix servers." Since this is a manual for beginners, I think using terms *nix would too intimidating. Off the topic, but in the sentence "I suggest taking the following into account", the "I" can be replaced by a "we". 2. Again, newcomers will be unfamiliar with the concept of dual-booting.
