Hi all,
For those wondering who I am, Benjamin has asked me to coordinate the
process of editing the manual. Currently we have various people chipping in
and editing bits and pieces of the manual as it is written. This is fine
(actually it's fantastic!) and is a good way to make sure the end resul

Well, I think that creating a site for the manual is not really worth
it. I think the wiki is doing just fine, and it is not because I am
being mediocre or anything, but I just think that the manual itself is
all there is to the manual project, so a site would be unnecessary and
hard to fill out.

Okay I have tried my best to change around the blueprints, it's fairly
messy.
Here's some specific stuff:
*Deon Spengler* - your chapter has changed from "Hints and Tips" to
"Preferences and Hardware" - if you don't feel comfortable writing about
that, let us know.

Hello,
We are now moving everything to the new Table of Contents. The wiki Table of
Contents page has already been updated, and I am now starting to change the
blueprints.
*If you are assigned to a blueprint, MAKE SURE YOU RECHECK IT ASAP because
you might be writing about something else now!*

Hi there,
Yes you can use translations on Launchpad. We have it all set up, so just

The manual is not guaranteed to be on the Lucid install, but that's what
we're aiming for.
Thanks

Status in Ubuntu Manual
Hello. I just joined the list. I would like to know if it will be possible
to use Launchpad for translations of the manual. I thinks it's very
important because this way translation teams can take care of the
translations.
I want to know also if it is going to come by default on the lucid install.
Yay!

I forgot about this bug, but had cleaned all of these up except for
changing the case from Unix to UNIX.
UNIX refers to the trademarked software, whereas a common term for what
Linux is would be "Unix-like". See the Wikipedia entry on UNIX for more.
In addition, Ubuntu's documentation uses "Unix"
