In KDE's Konsole, there is an option to "save history as", but that option
does not exist in Gnomes terminal.
I have a directory in my /home/user directory named History-files, and
whenever I do an update, I save the history from KDE's Konsole, suitably
datestamped to this directory.

install went ok, and was able to select which partitions I wanted to use to
install Gutsy Gibbon on, but after that the install went into auto mode, and
