In KDE's Konsole, there is an option to "save history as", but that option does not exist in Gnomes terminal.
I have a directory in my /home/user directory named History-files, and whenever I do an update, I save the history from KDE's Konsole, suitably datestamped to this directory. Gnomes terminal, does not have a "save history as" option, so at the moment I have to highlight all the text in Gnomes terminal, open Gedit, and paste it into Gedit. Gedit allows me to "save as", so then I can save the text, datestamped to my History-files directory. Can anyone suggest who I should contact to have the "save history as" option added to Gnomes terminal. Thanks for any pointers to a solution to this problem.
