process fails at the second step (Setting new software channels), at the
end of the step while tying to calculate space.

Actually, I was able to find an acceptable workaround -- I set the Power
Manager (runs in the systray by default, at least in Kubuntu) to
hibernate whenever the lid is closed; this seems to work nicely. When I
re-open, I need to wait a little for the system to wake up, but I'm not
forced to close a

Windows XP. Obviously, the kioslaves problem is only in the host.

I also have the wretched Optiplex 320. hpet=disable was enough to get it
to boot, but not enough to make it play sounds. When I also add "noacpi
pci=noacpi all_generic_ide" I do get sound. I'm not sure what these do

configure.in file which uses a macro AM_PROG_LIBTOOL. This macro is only
installed by the libtool package, so if it is not installed, the "Hello
World" project cannot build
