Hey Folks,
I guess things figured themselves out after reloading sound and a re-
boot.
I guess such a simple solution, I just have not had to reboot in a long
time due to updates.
There was no notification as usual for a reboot either. I guess for a
moment Ubuntu was acting like windows (smirk)

Old bu but still a problem for me as of today (and the last couple of
years). As I move from versiont o version this "feature" follows me.
I used to have to force quit the ICA process, but thanks to the shortcut
keys in this post for switching view ports I now know how to find the
window again.
