Is there more to this fix than the latest version of nvidia-prime plus
the gpu-manager.conf addition? I've tried using nvidia-prime 0.6.2
plush the gpu-manager.conf changes but no luck. I'm also seeing
different behavior than when I've tried nvidia-prime and prime-indicator
on Ubuntu 12.0

I also finally solved this problem, but on an Acer Aspire One AOA150 netbook.
I followed fortime's instructions and these worked for me. The earlier form of

After I upgraded from 10.04.3 to 12.04, wordpress started redirecting to
the install.php install screen.
Digging through the mysql database, I saw nothing wrong as all the
settings and posts were there. So I continued on the install screen,

I logged in and checked the process tree for the precise installer, and
saw that the memtest86+.post process was defunct and unresponsive to all
kill signals. I had to kill the frontend process to continue the

Update. As it seems that my wordpress instance does not have the 'wp_'
prefix on most of the database tables, it was 3 new lines in the updated
/etc/wordpress/wp-config.php that caused the problem:

- I encounter the same problem on my Trusty 14.04.3 with "cairo-dock" version
3.4.0 (Cairo Dock autoloading on bootup, not possible to logout from Cairo)
- is there a fix for these versions (the delayed start suggested does
oops, sorry I see my mistake: Cairo is of course not starting on bootup, but
indeed during user session start : I put an entry in /etc/xdg/autostart.

actually, DON'T copy and what you see from ls -lh /the/file, because
you'll loose the formatting. The dialog that pops up from your link,
right click that and select all and copy, then paste it into a new file.

So, I just learned that if I have a crontab with both the day of month
and day of week fields set, it will run on both the given weekday and
given the day of the month, and to have a crontab only work on a certain
day of the month, the day of week field should be set to an asterisk.
