just a mess of symptoms of the larger partitioning/RAID/LVM/dm-crypt

Intro is not in Intrepid repos. It is not included with the fillets-ng
0.8.0-2 or fillets-ng-data 0.8.0-1. Since a free video using a free

This Norwood Micro (CompUSA house brand) monitor had a lot of problems
syncing with the Banshee. It blacked out several times before
stabilizing.

users-admin works much better on Intrepid (8.10). If I create a user
named "admin" it takes the existing admin group (112) and reassigns it a
new ID in the user range (like 1002) and adds the admin user to all the
normal user groups apparently without problems as there are no messages
about it. T

Are you getting the login screen when you try to shut down or does the system
go through the normal shutdown sequence but not turn off? The acpi kernel
option should only affect power-off, not the shutdown sequence (which is what
this bug is about).

I did install the latest nvidia-glx driver package that supported the
card (96?) but it didn't do any better. Still ended up with a dri2
failure and vesa mode.

updates. The original symptoms with the listed keys are not
reproducible but there is a problem with the up/down arrows. While

On Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 i386 I tried the various workarounds listed
including blacklisting psmouse but they all had problems. Either
gsynaptics couldn't configure the device or the touchpad and a connected
USB mouse wouldn't both work. I finally came up with the following

I just encountered it again in Hardy but I also was having a crash issue
with gdm. I ran gdm-setup the first time out of XFCE and gdm segfaulted
dropping me back to a VT. I restarted gdm and tried again. After
selecting Happy Gnome with Browser and logging out, gdm died again and
didn't restart.
The video would improve interest as the story behind the puzzles is lost
without it. The video doesn't have to be required, just available.
Several games already do this, Wesnoth in particular. The meta package
wesnoth-all doesn't include the music.
