When i use the num keyboard, the cursor move (like the numlock was off)
When i hit ALT-G+8 (sending \ char) the VNC client receive the _ char.
Page up and page down doesn't work too.

If it can help, I too have the crashing problem on save to X
configuration file and have built nvidia-settings in debug mode and the
stack trace I obtain is the following:
My system is Ubuntu-8.10 beta AMD64 with updates applied as of Wed 22 Oct 2008.

The problem is caused by the absence of a ServerLayout section in
Xorg.conf. (nvidia-settings assumes there is one such section).
If there is nothing really customized about your xorg.conf, one possible
workaround would be to delete it after you log into X and then execute

Same problem for me, and no working solution.
I have tried to module-assistant update, prepare and a-i stuff, without any
success. Even though the virtualbox-source package is installed, the module
does not compile.
I am using a x86_64 kernel. Can that have an influence?

to install Gutsy and then upgrade to Hardy to get Hardy on my laptop.

avoids the unprintable boxes, or use Adobe Reader to print the PDF. Any

This malicious site prevents the tab from being closed. I have to kill
the browser to stop it.

This has happened to me a couple times, always when using Expo mode. In
general Expo mode works fine, but the problem seems to generally occur
when I click on a workspace.

Now i download alsa-source (1.0.16-1.1) from debian, this package
compiles well with M-A on ubuntu.
The ubuntu package wont compile like described above, reason unknown. So
the bug is fixed by workaround now, but this is no really solution.
