perfectly. However, when putting in the settings that nm-applet will
allow, it fails to connect.

I can't say i've had the same problem, but without steps to reproduce i
think this is going to be near impossible to pin-point.
The rythmbox database is locate
/home/$USER/.gnome2/rhythmbox/rhythmdb.xml . It is possible that the
xml file has become malformed; you may be able to recover your feeds
Doesn't show in lsusb, lspci, pcmcia or hcitool. This is why i raised
it as a kernel issue aswell.

Other than installing windows and using supplied driver; it is
impossible. As mentioned in description, there is no option in the bios
or a switch on the keyboard.
Therefore i consider this a bug with ubuntu.

It's a known buy in RC1, ubuntu-xgl was not built correctly in RC1 but
works pefectly (for me) in RC2.

Can you list some programs that prove this fault? AFAIK programs
requiring java will use /usr/bin/java which is a symlink to
/etc/alternatives/java.

Your are correct, you should only have one. The network manager applets
support changed in feisty to use "Network Applet 0.64" which is the
official gnome network manager.
Can you confirm how you installed feisty? Was it an upgrade from edgy
(over the internet or from a fesity herdX cd)? Or was
27; from a terminal.
