I'm using Jaunty, Kopete 0.70.2 and KDE 4.2.3, and it keeps
connecting/disconnecting with a time period of a few seconds to one

I have a similar behaviour with amarok 2:2.1.1mysql5.1.30-0ubuntu1~jaunty1,
from Jaunty's backport repository.
The backtrace is below:

connected to my laptop (Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2) through an eSATA pccard
is not detected anymore, with the following lines in the log:

This disk is usually disconnected when the laptop boots, and is
connected/disconnected from time to time by plugging the pccard to which

recognized. Looks like the suspend to ram (during the night) helped a
bit. Strange. Any idea ?

KDE 4.2.2. It works quite well, but there is a very annoying bug: when
the stop button is pressed its always crashes with SIGSEGV.

The openbabel-perl API is quite good and used by quite a few people I
know. Right now, we all have to compile openbabel from sources instead
of using the deb package available in ubuntu. From sources, the
compilation of this binding is very easy : cd scripts/perl && perl
