Hmm. After kicking Airport Extreme and Express a bit, I found that avahi
started to identify the raop service on the Express, and it does now
seem to be working... so debug step would probably be use avahi-browse,
look for raop, if not there, restart routers etc...

After boot / login I have no working click of any kind.
Switch to console -> rmmod / modprobe psmouse -> trackpad no longer
works at all
Swich to console -> service gdm restart -> trackpad tap-to-left-click
now works, but the buttons still do not, so i am unable to get a right-

A clue - it was pointed out to me that Natty's kernel is using
CONFIG_USB_MOUSE=m and CONFIG_USB_KBD=m - this is not the case in

recompile with CONFIG_USB_MOUSE and CONFIG_USB_KBD unset, and that makes
no difference, symptoms as before, and behaviour the same if I reinsert
psmouse and restart gdm I get limited touchpad function back, no
physical buttons.
