Ken, I believe that is a separate bug. I had been using the backported
versions of Puppet prior to upgrading to Hardy. But I believe that on
the move from .22 to .23 or .24 all the certs break and need to be
regenerated. At least that's what I had to do. You may want to file a
separate bug for
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xenman
The xenman package depends on packages xen-utils-3.0.3-1 or xen-utils,
however neither of these exist in my gutsy amd64 repositories. Instead
I have xen-utils-3.1 and xen-utils-3.0
Details:

I noticed this today as well. I want to second that these lines should
be deleted. I believe this sysctl has been deprecated for some time.
These lines have been or will be removed from Debian:

I agree that this should be turned on by default. For any entry in the
net.ipv4.conf or net.ipv6.conf trees I believe both ".all" and
".default" should be set to achieve the desired effect. In this case
the proper sysctl.conf settings are:
net.ipv6.conf.all.use_tempaddr=2
net.ipv6.conf.default.u
I have always found that one needs to set both the "all" and the
"default" in order to guarantee the changes affect all interfaces
regardless of when those interfaces are created. In the latest hardy
version here are the options which only specify "all" and not "default"
and "all":

*sigh*
This is still broken in Hardy beta. Come on, this is a 1 minute fix,
why should this bug report be 2 years old and still not fixed? Anyway,
nothing left to say except what has already been said:
The only thing required to fix this bug is to add the libsilc dev
package to the build-deps a
I can confirm that this bug has still not been fixed in Hardy beta.
