I'm having the same problem on my desktop with Ubuntu 9.04, 64 bit. It
can not start after suspend. On hibernate I get a black screen, with a
blinking cursor. I can only press the reset button or power off, then
start.
I'm wondering if it even power down at all. the DVD drive is still

noob at editing config files].KPackagekit kept prompting me to file a bug
report every time this happened so I did.

I am experiencing the same problem at startup, as stated in other
similar/duplicate bug reports, other mono apps work fine.
This happens with both monodevelop packaged with edgy and a monodevelop
compiled myself, it seems the problem is mono related rather than
monodevelop related.

This is probably hal/pmount related, but I'm really not sure.
There seems to be a problem mounting partitions.
my /etc/fstab.conf contains those line

This might solve "Problem A" (at a first glance, it really seems to
solve it, I'll confirm next time I boot).

mount related problem but rather a lack of configuration capability for
removable ext3 storage).

I found out what the problem was.
Actually, the problem is that there is a major monodevelop update in
edgy (-> 0.12), but the update doesn't seem to delete the old plugins,
and the old XML plugin doesn't get deleted nor overwritten. Thus causing
the crash.
Solution : Delete the XML plugin manual
~/.config/monodevelop
(it seems that it is being installed by the user, not by root, in fact
it is installed automatically from the software when requested).

I just updated from edgy to feisty.
The CPU monitor applet reports the following frequencies :
600 Mhz
800 Mhz
1 Ghz
1.2 Ghz
1.4 Ghz
1.6 Ghz (which is the max freq of my CPU)
65.53 Ghz (Well obviously, this one has a little problem).
The problem is probably not with the apple
