I connect to my session (GNOME) and I use ctrl+alt+impécr|syst+k to do disapear
this bug.
After, the mouse is usable, but if I use the button to change the sensivity,

My addition: trying a respin of Ubuntu 10.04 on a blank x86_64 system.
The same error comes shortly after installing the system and
removing/adding a few packages. Reinstall of xorg-server-video-all and
xorg-server-input-all does not help. Thus the problem seems to have
deeper roots in the past and
To be continued: apparently my particular problem came from switching to
maverick repository and upgrading some packages to 10.10 versions.
Disabling it a temporal solution.

I'm using Mint 19.2 , I noticed if I do CTRL-z ( undo ) either in xed or
gnome-calc , this will trigger high usage in ibus-daemon, ibus-x11 and
xed
However, in pluma it does not .
After some seconds the CPU goes down . I noticed it in the CPU monitor
applet .

We have a related issue in Ubuntu Core 22. It fails the same way. But in
our case it fails because systemd-networkd is not running, because
subiquity has stopped it before calling "netplan apply". And then

It seems every `Run configure hook of ".." snap if present` take 3
seconds to run. But most of them have a configure hook that only
contains `#!/bin/true`. Could we just remove those hooks in the snaps?
That would probably save most of the time.

There is actually hooks. They call the hook from gnome, which runs `fc-
cache --force`. And that takes 3 seconds each.

No more error messages since I've upgraded my kernel to the 2.6.30-rc3.
Although this may not be related, in 2.6.30-rc3 VT-switch are still perturbed.
But I also notice that in 2.6.30-rc2 with EXA and option "MigrationHeuristic"
"greedy", VT-switch went back to normal.

I'm experiencing the same problems that Florent (VT switches and unknow
parameters in dmesg).
I've just upgrade to Jaunty (kernel 2.6.28-11-generic) with an Intel i945GM
(driver 2.6.3).
In fact, I have first also bad performances with compiz as in Bug #303011
Maybe it is related ?

Any update to this? I am suddenly having this issue where I can setup
the account but then when it's time to send/receive emails, it keeps
prompting me for the password and when I enter my password it says it's
incorrect.

marked as fixed, this is still an issue in Ubuntu. The script needs to
be added to saved and launched at session start via any start-up script
or the GUI 'Startup Applications'.
