I don't see a reason for leaving .Trash-1000 on the users drive either,
after they were even asked to clean up they trash, and they -did-. Not

Heh, yes. Though this is a motorola pci card that has it actually, so
it's removable... but it's been on this same computer.
Another tip for this mystery is that before I installed the drivers
manually, I checked "dmseg" (or something like that), and it did detect

You run their .run file inside a virtual machine. When you press
"install guest addons", it mounts a fake cd with the drivers, and then
you sudo run the linux driver, it installs, and then you reboot the
guest OS and it works.

Um sure, here you go. But when it failed to initialize, I told it to
use the recommended settings, so my resolution is back to normal now and
on the drivers that were before.
I also just reinstalled the nvidia driver, going to reboot now to see if
it works (before I just relogged in)

~/.mozilla/plugins, but the installation of Flash is flawless and it
works fine.

I don't think that it's meant to replace, because the gaim-extendedprefs
package -depends- on pidgin-extprefs. Kind of an odd way but it does

That does look somewhat better, but not exactly fitting. I find that
ubuntu's icons have their reflection in an arc and on top, like the help
icon's (where you have firefox evoution help on top)

Purge, wait a few days, hope that apt forgets about it and re-add.
I believe mvo said he'll be helping to debug this apt bug. Playdeb is the
only repository so far to use the dynamic mirror selection apparently, so it
is buggy.

Yes, this still is an issue on 8.04.1.
Just open Firefox, go to synaptic, help, report a problem, let apport
collect data and then you get the error message.
