My Downloads folder is encrypted by fscrypt. I can save and read files
in there. However, for Firefox - all downloads fail and it says only
"download failed" and offers a button to retry which fails again. After
a failed attempt, a file is created with a proper file name but

I have the same problem with Mint 18 Sarah, based on Ubuntu 16.04 and Nvidia
361.42.
The logo is initially displayed, but when the animation for the "dots" starts,
the logo disappears and then only the dots are displayed.
BTW: I had to update grub settings with this:

4.11.12, and just a freeze a minute ago on fresh 4.13.rc3 installed from

switch to Linux Mint 17.1.

By clicking and dragging at the desktop, I found another interesting
observation:
Mouse clicks are translated in the following way:
* Y coordinate is always correct.
* X coordinate is only correct if I click on the right edge of U3011 display -
then it is mapped to the right edge of the U3011 dis
Yesterday evening I updated the kernel to 3.16.0-23-generic (tpogether
with all the other updates) and the problem still exists.

Installing Nvidia 340.46 driver does not fix the problem (and adds one
more - incorrect rendering of menu highlight - but this driver is not
officially supported by ubuntu yet, so never mind).

I got it both in 12.04 LTS, when using nvidia prioprieary drivers, as
well as with 12.10 which switched to bumblebee and is using mesa by
default. So this is probably not a graphics driver issue. In 12.10 that
lag seems to be longer, but that may be just by accident that mesa
graphic drivers are fa
This bug affects me with Ubuntu 13.04 64-bit, kernel generic 3.8.0-23. I
noticed it both when using nvidia as well as when using bumblebee with
optimus enabled (running the X session with intel card).
Is there any workaround?
