Yes, those three SATA drives are on my intel ICH8. I will get a chance
to do this later on today. I think it might be useful to see what other
linux distros are doing to load the driver for the SATA on the JMB363.

@plotkin it should work as long as you tell NX 3 to run the command:
gnome-session --session=gnome-flashback --disable-acceleration-check
(Not tested)

I just tested compiz 0.8.8.28.fc21 on Fedora 21 and I can confirm that
it does require the GLX extension.
