@plotkin it should work as long as you tell NX 3 to run the command: gnome-session --session=gnome-flashback --disable-acceleration-check (Not tested)
You may have to put that line in a script, and tell NX 3 to launch that script. That's what you will have to do with X2Go at least. I wrote the logic in X2Go for "--session=gnome-flashback". I still need to write the logic in X2Go for "--disable-acceleration-check". Once I do, X2Go users can simply select "GNOME" as their session. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1251281 Title: gnome-session-flashback/Unity fails to start without hardware acceleration in cloud/remote environments (Forwarded-X/XRDP/VNC/NX/X2GO/Chromoting) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-session/+bug/1251281/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
