It can happen under various circumstances:
- a bug in libxklavier libr
i've since recreated the USA2/crd keyboard, added it under layouts and
set it as default...it appears as the default but doesn't seem to be the
default, it doesn't work. every time i boot i get the same bug message,
and when i rebuild the crd keyboard when i saved it in us and made the
other releva
problem solved...
i removed the keyboard i had made in us (crd), set everything back to default,
and reinstalled all xkb packages i had been using. i then created the keyboard
again and edited the base files in rules as above...everything now seems to
work and when i boot i no longer get the bug
The system was configured with three users, all users had the same access.
The XFCE desktop was installed on the system.
I as one of the user to log and he was successfully logged on.
After he was done, he logged out.
Then the next user log-on and the system will act as if it was logging on.

Hmm I tried installing gmic gimp straight after the gimp snap
And still had no joy i so added the ppa after I had no luck the first try
Funnily enough gmic is available for krita and installed with no
problems

The recommended patch no only did not resolve the issue it also totally
