i've since recreated the USA2/crd keyboard, added it under layouts and set it as default...it appears as the default but doesn't seem to be the default, it doesn't work. every time i boot i get the same bug message, and when i rebuild the crd keyboard when i saved it in us and made the other relevant changes, each time i got the bug error. when i added the variant
