Public bug reported:

I installed Ubuntu 9.10 for a desktop computer that is used by three different
users.
After installing Ubuntu 9.10 the users that used the computers most perform a
cold boot in order to log as a different users in gnome. If the users does not
perform a cold boot no one is able to log in.

The only way some one can log in is by using a shell pressing
Alt+Ctrl+F1 for instance.

Is there a bug report regarding this particular issue?
I haven't been able to find any reports on this.

I think that Ubuntu is having way to many problems in this distro and it is
beginning to remind me of Windows.
Before I proceed to switch to CentOS5.4 or downgrade to Ubuntu 9.4 can some one
shade some light in this particular issue?

Thank you for your time.
