Please ignore this bug report. It seems that for that resolution, the
screen requires a 75 Hz resolution frequency. I've changed to that
frequency and it is working fine. My apologies for this.

The workaround doesn't work for me in kubuntu 10.10. i am able to see
the icon only if i change the icon theme to humanity or ubuntu mono. if
i use oxygen i am not able to load the nm-applet anymore. what can i do

I have an IvyBridge fullHD XPS13, BIOS version A08, with Ubuntu 13.04 booting
in UEFI mode with Legacy Option Rom disabled.

Alarm Clock does not ring
I only get very short "bursts" of the alarm sound when the screen is
sleeping.
It is only working after I activated the phone but then I don't need the alarm
anymore. :(

I did a factory reset and it works now. (There was still a lot of
clutter from the 13.10 install)

This bug is six months old, high priority and it looks like the fix is
just one line. What would it take to fix it? I just installed opencv and
was really surprised when I couldn't get into X after rebooting, and
even more when I realized that it was opencv's fault.

I have the same problem. I tried formatting the disk in fat32, ntfs,
ext4 and leaving it unformatted. With fat32 the error message is
different:
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply.

Same problem here, using Kubuntu 14.04. Tested the usb disk creator by
launching it from the command line. This is the output:

menu. Though, it is possible to use phablet-flash --bootstrap, an option
should be added to the system settings which allows a reset without
using another linux machine.

If I remove Banshee.Dap.dll in /usr/lib/banshee/Extensions it doesn't
crash, but the devices are no more visible
