Eject's CD with error when trying to bur
I think this was solved by the update of flashplugin-installer to
version 10.1.53.64ubuntu10.04.1 released yesterday. At least it looks
like the update fixed the issue on my system (Lucid). But I think
Youtube also made some changes to their website so the problem could
still exist somewhere else.

the recent kernel update, it happens almost every time I start my laptop and it
won't go away even if I completely shut down. Before, I was able to get it to
work if I shut down and restarted. Can anyone conf

kernel to the previous version? There is nothing working anymore: no
sound, no power management, no screensaver, I can't plug in any USB

Ok same thing here. I'm using Lucid Lynx 10.04 up-to-date version. I
tried to burn some mp3-files on a cd-r. It looked like Brasero would
burn the CD: It created the image and showed a progress bar which said
"Burning tracks to disk" or something like that. The drive didn't do

Some observations on Trusty:
The indicator always shows the correct layout even if the actual layout is not
the same.
In /etc/default/keyboard the setting is correct. The X-Server log says it set
the correct layout (de in my case).
Possible workaround:
Run "sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configu
The workaround from #21 does not work. It just happend again.
Sometimes the wrong layout is already set right after boot and you have
to change it before you are able to login or sometimes it happens when
switching to another window.

I had this issue on a Acer Aspire 5750G. Today I updated my system with
the latest NVIDIA driver 343 from the xorg-edgers repository. Because
Ubuntu would not let me login (black screen after entering password in
lightdm) after the update and command line switching did also not work I

No luck, issue is back. It happend after the system was running for
about 5 to 6 h. I wasn't actually using it all the time but when it
froze I was just surfing the web with Firefox. No USB devices were
connected. I am also using Intel Graphics Driver Installer with current

Broadcom BCM43142 hybrid wifi/bluetooth chipset the official driver from
Broadcom does not work correctly. On 2.4 GHz the wifi signal is so low

Depends on the translation freeze deadline but I would say it should
have been included if it was translated 2 months before the release.
Since Linux Mint doesn't publish daily builds it is hard to say if it is
fixed or not. On the other hand I didn't find any similar string in Mint
slideshows.
