I'm experiencing this problem in Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) on a Gateway
M-1615, but I've only started experiencing it recently. I was able to
use my webcam in March without it interfering with my wireless usage. I
didn't try using the webcam again until today.

Just started using Ubuntu and I had to go looking for why the server
constantly locked on rm commands.
This happens pretty much 100% of the time in my ext4 filesystems that
are large (100gb 60%+ full). I cannot delete more than 20-30 files
before it hangs.
I also was able to go up to 2.6.29 and
It happened very frequently on my Dual Core i86 based system (never got
more than 5 single rm commands off without a hang before I went to the
higher kernel) so it certanly can happen on multi-core systems often.

driver manager on a fresh feisty installation. I uninstalled the driver
using the RDM them proceded to install the drivers manually. Manual
installation did not fix the issue and neither did reconfiguring xorg

I imagine I can work around this by making an ISO image, so I wouldn't
classify this as a 'major' problem, but all the same I thought I'd

3. goto additional drivers and select driver 349.16
4. reboot

-amvR". I took the error outputs and blacklisted the files in
/etc/prelink.conf. A copy of my prelink.conf file is below. I hope this helps.

I don't believe the formerly blamed item 509180 is truly the source of
these errors. I have read that complete bug thread, and the error
messages being posted there are similar to this error message. However,
there is a critically important difference between the error messages.
Bug 509180:
On further inspection, I never have had an ecryptfs.ko in /lib/modules.
On what modules does ecryptfs depend?

There's a button the laptop which toggles external monitors, touching
one or two times enables both monitors, but I am unable to use the
maximum resolution of the external syncmaster, like I am able to in KDE.
