I'm experiencing this problem in Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) on a Gateway M-1615, but I've only started experiencing it recently. I was able to use my webcam in March without it interfering with my wireless usage. I didn't try using the webcam again until today.

The webcam at /dev/video0 is greyed out when I try to select it in preferences, and my wireless connection is disconnected and won't reconnect unless I reboot. -- Conflict between webcam and wifi https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/575000 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
