This is a duplicate of bug-report #203349 in order to make sure it's listed on
Application "D3lphin"
as well as an OPEN+reoccuring high visual impact error for non technical users,
since kUbuntu 7.10
It still regards d3lphin 0.9.2 run on kUbuntu 8.04 LTS- KDE 3.5.10
First let me state I like Kubuntu (8.04 LTS), don't like KDE 4 for various
reason.
It's not the eye candy, I dislike..., but the memory consumption of plasma in
special.
So I'm happy with KDE 3.5.10 - even with an update to 8.10 (very nice) I would
reconvert.

Cherio – looks like it works now uniquely & exclusive on Xenial.
The Term "KDE Software Compilation" (in short KDE SC) was abolished with
the invention of Plasma5, so just changing it to KDE Applications [2]
would suit best.
Muon-Discover is given up in favour of Plasma-Discover [2]

The desktop has to my knowledge in at least the last five years never
been officially updated – just via the Kubuntu-Developers/Packagers PPA.
Ubuntu has shortend it's Release-cycle a while ago to a period of 9 month to
catch up, even with overlapping LTS-Releases.
