* Previously, WSL instances relied on a very lightweight build pipeline which
was using the CPC image.
In 22.04 we did a first step to have WSL has its own project in livecd-rootfs,
with its own seed and image to produce a rootfs, while leaving Focal for later.

wsl-pro-service (0.1.5) oracular; urgency=medium
Indeed there was a mistake from my side to mention the toolchain version
pinning in the debian/changelog. That happens at the Go workspace scope
(see the go.work file in the monorepo at GH:

but that's not visible in this sourc

Does this supersede 2085834? Is there anybody working on this? The
backport of golang-1.23-go to Focal is interesting for Ubuntu on WSL,
besides MAAS. Since I don't see any uploads referring to this SRU I'd
like to recommend (or request) version 1.23.11 since it's the latest
release of the 1.23 ser
Thanks @uralt! Good that 24.04 users will no longer be able to do-
release-upgrade into 24.10! What about the other releases?
