To ease testing those packages @didrocks made available a test image in the new format (.wsl) at the following address:
https://people.canonical.com/~didrocks/tmp/livecd.proposed.ubuntu- wsl.wsl The image was built with livecd-rootfs from noble-proposed and it contains wsl-setup from noble-proposed as well.
