On Ubuntu 18.04 when installing flatpaks (not using sudo) or updating
already installed flatpaks I am getting prompted for my admin password
twice for each and every package. I.e. when trying to update 10 flatpaks
on my system, I get prompted 20 times for my password. Neverthe

(kind of like VNC) which uses ssh for authentication, so polkit was treating

I too have this issue on both my desktop and my laptop. For a while
LightDM loaded completely beautifully, but a few weeks ago it started to
load all weird and glitchy. I have tried it with opensourced and
proprietary drivers on both a Radeon HD 4200 and 6950 and both equally
have this issue.

I have tried the workaround above by enabling "force full screen
redraw", but it did not solve the problem at all. My computer still have

Another note. After completely removing the xorg.conf file, at first
startup the flicker dissapeared, and, again, came back after a couple of
minutes of use. Setting [Option "SwapbuffersWait" "on"] in the xorg.conf
file was ineffective, and there is no difference between with or without
the xorg.co

in ccsm did not aleviate any flickering and only caused more artifacts
and screen glitching than before.

As you can see, the icons shifted 30-40 pixels to the right from the

I am running the opensourced rs880 Radeon graphics driver on an HD 4200
series. Also, the computer I run at work has an nividia 8600 graphics
card with proprietary drivers that does not seem to have the problem.

Well the other issue has to deal with Icons being offset because of the
Unity Launcher positioning the effective screen space to the right 48
pixels. When going back to Gnome-Shell there is no longer this offset so
all of the icons move over, and perhaps a glitch happens when logging
back into Unit
My work computer running an nvidia Geforce Go 7600 with the Proprietary
drivers does not have this issue, but my personal laptop with a radeon
HD 4200 does have this issue with both the open sourced and fglrx
drivers.

I would love to see the system monitor get implemented in some way into
the ctrl-alt-delete. It is a very comfortable and familiar way to access
the system manager when an application freezes and your mouse cursor is
trapped. (aka full screen flash)

When running dual screens, when moving the mouse from one screen to the
next, it momentarilly gets "hung up" on the second screens launcher, on
the very left most edge of the screen. It is "very" annoying and I
believe it should be fixed.
