since the eclipse package is not updated to the current mainstream
version (actually it's about 2 years old), and I guess wont be in
observable future, this bug will migrate from one ubuntu release to
another. The fix is really simple: just add the needed path to
JAVA_HOME. Or use netbeans

Looks like middle mouse button works as Paste command. Nothing wrong if
clipboard is empty and "Invalid URL" message if in clipboard some inappropriate
for URL content, If clipboard content is URL, then location of current window

Chris, you can try deleting via.ko kernel module from /lib/modules. Then
after reboot your system won't be able to load this module -> X won't be
able to use DRI -> no error while launching X. This is a dirty
workaround while the problem persists. Or you can just use vesa driver
for X :)

Neither edge scroll nor two finger scroll work for me. I'm not sure but
I think that my touchpad does not support multi-touch. Edge scroll
worked with older versions of synaptics driver in Jaunty and I still
like to have an opportunity to use it.

Patching and building restricted-manager-core, restricted-manager and
restricted-manager-kde doesn't make much sense, because *.mo files
aren't generated during the build process. Quick investigation shows,
that localized messages for restricted-manager are contained in
language-pack-*-base package
