If I use alsamixer to reduce the PCM volume the tinny sound goes away.
Maybe it has something to do with the new channel mapping logic of PA.
If I change the volume of LFE the master volume also changes, that
doesn't seem to be correct for me.

I have tested the the renkoo-edited.tar.bz2 theme and I have noticed

I have changed the size of the avatar to 32px and did a little comparison to
the roster avatar which has the same size.
As you can see, the image in the theme looks pixelated. I think this is because

The Inspiron 6400 has no internel mic.
I have attached a little video that shows what happens when I plugin an
external mic.
It shows up If it gets pluged in but as it seem audio controls don't work.
If I restart the audio settings the controls stark working.

Stupid me! My swap partition was to small for my upgraded memory. So every time
the RAM in use was bigger than my swap, hibernation did not work. After
resizing the swap, it seems to work.
So for now I can again confirm that #14 works.
But I forgot to mention, that I had to enable hibernation in
Christopher, I am sorry I don't have the hardware any more. This bug-
report is simply to old. If you like you can close it.

If I move a window with my mouse very fast around on my desktop no screen
updates happen.
My observation is that compiz has a high cpu usage, please see attached
screenshot (compiz high cpu usage).
Compiz has 70% and X has ~30% so in sum this are 100%.
I hope this can be fixed at least for ubunt

krename worked in natty without problems.
Since i upgraded to oneiric (beta 2) it stopped working - no gui, nothing.
Launched from a terminal, it says "memory allocation error". No further infos
given.
I deleted the configfile in ~/.kde/..
The problem resists.

Not only is the decoration missing, but the window flickers very often.
If you switch to an empty workspace you also see the last window appear for a
fraction of a second.
