3D-Apps should run much faster.

4) What happened instead
I upgraded my system from ubuntu 11.10 (was using PPA from Daniel van Vugt) to 
12.04
and then I noticed that 3D-Apps are running slow with unity.
I have noticed this with ioquake3, xbmc, blocks that matter, revenge of the 
titans…

I compared the performance of ioquake as an example:
1260 frames 21.1 seconds 59.6 fps 8.0/16.8/34.0/3.0 ms compiz gnome classic (2 
gnome panels)
1260 frames 34.4 seconds 36.6 fps 6.0/27.3/52.0/7.8 ms unity 

The target FPS should be 60 FPS (Monitor has 60Hz).
I also have attached some information about my system (gfx_info.log).
