this was stuck for a while, but as mentioned by Sergio it has come back.
So the old "first such request in the history" is no more true, it seems to
certainly has more than one stumbling over it.

So I did tests on Jammy, installed fresh Ubuntu Jammy from ISO on the VM
instance and attached the WiFi device.
Initially it asked me for admin password to change the network settings.

If your system is bootable, then it is not a brick.
What kernel are you trying to boot with when it fails? 6.11.x?
There's very little usable info here, so please:
1. Boot into failed situation.
2. Reboot with 6.8.0-53 kernel
3. Run: sudo journalctl -b -1 > prevboot.txt
4. Attach the resulting t

Marek mentioned elsewhere that this happened on the live-cd session, and
indeed I can reproduce by booting the same 20250211.1 daily live-cd.
Instead, I cannot reproduce on the 24.04.1 live-cd.
To reproduce, simply boot the daily live-cd and close the installer to
reach the desktop.
