I did some digging on this issue and found out, that these "buffer overflow
detected" messages are triggered by -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=3, which seems to be
active since Ubuntu 24.04.
This is why the problem wasn't noticed on Debian nor in 4.3.30-1build2 from the
jammy, since both still use -D_FORTIFY

While Google Chrome isn't necessarily an issue, KXStudio, PipeWire, and

System resources near by 100% in use. Never had a problem in this case
with Ubuntu 22.04.03.
E,g.: firefox open with 10Tabs, visible in the panel. Get the
application in foreground,open a new Tab, e.g.: with youtube as address,
got immediately the message Box
Rerun the cert-testing on the impacted systems that mentioned in the

blackscreens, the only way to actually edit /etc/default/grub is a
process that requires booting with a usb and mounting the drive
