This is the same issue as in #1435823 where after a (re)boot, the
/var/run/mysqld directory isn't created, causing mysqld start to fail.

Ok, I've succeeded in verifying this by adding an artificial
ExecStartPre=/bin/sleep 10 to both old and new resolvconf.service. Old:

Not detecting arachsys containers is a high impact bug. My production
servers running on Ubuntu 16.04 can no longer be updated anymore as apt

I have this issue (or something similar). I upgraded from LTS (16.04?) to 17.04
and now my log-in screen and console are both UK keyboard layout rather than US
layout. I am in the UK, but it seems unlikely that it would choose a layout
based on location.

This worked for me (note that I had a 7th step to update initramfs just
in case):
1. boot your droplet with a Recovery ISO - Like TigerShark from DigitalOcean
2. Network must be configured, either manually or via TigerShark script.
3. $ mount -rw -o remount /dev/vda1 /mnt
4. $ chroot
When this issue occurs again, can you run the following command:
iostat -mx

I am sorry, it's been a while I stopped the Compiz development. The

This bug is closed but the original issue hasn't been solved. From my
understanding, the only change that was applied was to use "wget". The
fact that a password reset doesn't work is still present. Switching
cc_set_passwords.py to PER_ALWAYS is still needed, right?
