Similar problem with my Anker SoundBuds AK-A3233011: as the phone
(Aquaris E4.5) connect with the BT device the BT cease to function: I
cannot set BT of or set Airplane Mode; even a reboot will never
complete, I must force a full shutdown.

This is still a bug in unity 7.4.0+16.04.20160801.2-0ubuntu1 but takes affect
immediately on any resolution.
With the scale for menu and title bars set to anything > 1 the text scaling
factor is increased and the title bars of windows disappear completely.

I agree, this was a very annoying bug as there are no error messages.
Keys are just missing, and importing the old pubring.gpg through both
Seahorse and Enigmail interfaces doesn't work.
The "bug" also affects Enigmail.
There is a nice description here regarding how to export your old
pubring.gpg
Quick analysis shows that we do setup snap security. Perhaps the
SnapSetup object that is used as the root of the decision tree is stale
and is not updated accordingly. Investigating.
