Public bug reported: I have a xenial server with ZFS on root, and it seems to have a stuck unattended-upgrade from June because of os-prober, see attached output of 'ps ef'.
Running 'grub-mount /dev/sda1 /var/lib/os-prober/mount' manually gives error: unknown filesystem. Perhaps error handling should be better? ** Affects: grub2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: os-prober (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: grub2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1620589 Title: unattended-upgrade stuck because of "unknown filesystem" from os- prober To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1620589/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
