Ok, what is weird is that your screenshot looks like icons on 100% zoom
on my laptop, but maybe it's due to the scaling. Here they look a bit
too big with a set up in zooms.
The way icons works is that the code looks for matches in the different
theme directory (the index.theme has an Inherit= key
3.19.0-15 from latest Ubuntu, but the same problem occurred with Mint
17.1 which is based on 14.04.2

when cloud-init starts on snappy for the first time, it will generate
host SSH keys. If power is removed after this point, fsck might replace
this uncommitted data by zero files, in which case it's impossible to

I could reproduce the error on a Debian based qemu-kvm host, running a
Lubuntu guest with qxl/spice. After increasing the resolution several
letter disappeared from the LXDE menu (e.g. w, u, p).
However, I could work around the Issue by deactivating text anti-
aliasing in LXDE.
