* non-latin shortcuts work normally;
*Ctrl+Shift+C/V, in gnome-terminal work too;

But there is a regression.

I also installed the nvidia driver (331.20). No crash anymore since then
(Friday / Monday on both laptops).
But I didn't remove nouveau explicitly.

As I wrote on the MP, this shoudn't actually hurt, apt will fall back to

dmesg errors, it doesn't detect the Ethernet cable or does DHCP client
work. So, the evidence suggests this isn't entirely fixed upstream yet.

I tried installing 14.04 via netboot but could not run the ""Detect
Disks" step so i was not able to create a root partition. The "Detect
Network Configuration" step also tried to load yenta_socket but i was

please note bug #1172318 [1] when looking at remote-login-service.
Currently, only uccs.landscape.canonical.com can be used as UCCS server.
Other UCCS implementations (like [2]) will not be configurable through
/etc/remote-login-service.conf atm.

powertop snapshot before and after running fprint_demo
I took 4 snapshots of powertop.
1. Before running fprint_demo
2. After running fprint_demo and do scan and verify fingerprint
3. Reboot my laptop and remove all USB devices and then do powertop
4. After running fprint_
I don't get any reply from Validity Sensors for a whole week.
So, I think this is probably the best we can do for now.
