I confirm that also after last kernel update (3.2.0-32-generic) the nm-applet

I did the following test:
1. Plugged an external drive on a system with an existing installation of Ubuntu
2. In partman I selected 'Entire drive'
3. On the confirmation page, I selected the external drive (sdc) and proceeded
with installation
4. Proceeded with installation and rebooted
=> Boot ok
Despite the fix released, I experience the exact same problem, with
Ubuntu 12.10 beta 2, kernel 3.5.0.17.19, with the following audio card
(according to lspci): Audio device: Intel Corporation 5 Series/3400
Series Chipset High Definition Audio (rev 05).

AFAIK this behavior dates back to changes in ubiquity circa Maverick.
Prior to that the final installation screen allowed the user to select

@ M. van der Heide sure you assign it to ubiquity (the graphical)
install _until_ somebody triages to be a problem in another package.
There are hundreds of software packages that get you the graphical
installer, and we do need to start narrowing it down. Usually we start
with ubiquity and then fil
...and one week later, the printer fails to print even from Cinnamon.

Booting off the live image for daily build 12 october does not allow me

The file to edit is actually src/evdev.c, not src/evdec.c. It should be
