just noticed this strange feo0 in my /etc/hosts file. I didn't write
this line myself so it's probably a bug in the default linux install. On
a newer machine there isn't this bug any more.

I'm not sure if a blurred launcher will produce bugs with autohide. I
haven't tried it.
I can tell you for sure that a blurred launcher will make expo painfully
slow for many people. In theory, we could solve half of that problem by
using more efficient damage logic in the expo plugin. However tha
I'm currently working on packaging GRUB 2.00, and hope to get that into
Ubuntu 12.10. Since the patch against 2.00 for this is very much
simpler, I'd prefer to take that route if possible.

This occurred again when quantal-desktop-amd64+mac.iso of 20120905.2
during a live session. Just tried to do some settings change during the
live session, such as changing the keyboard layout, timezone change. If
it does not occur leave it for some time and this would occur.

I compiled git version 1.7.9.6 from source and reran the testcase in
comment #3. The bug has been fixed in that version.

Yes, it happens every time, even with the 2012-09-05.1 Desktop image.

It cannot resolve the hostname 'subkeys.pgp.net' to an IP address.
Sounds like you have a problem with your DNS resolver, which might be
caused by your configuration of iptables/ufw usage. Please check the
relevant logs and contact a user or support forum for iptables to get
help to find and fix th
